About Me
A passion for helping others, love of dance and the arts, and interest in anatomy led me down the path of Physical Therapy into a career that allows me to provide my patients with customized, high-quality healthcare. As a Doctor of Physical Therapy since 2014, I bring a holistic approach to therapy in order to find comfortable and effective solutions for individuals and families.
Before becoming a Physical Therapist I worked primarily as a dance teacher in private studios. I have also taught elementary, middle, high school and college classes in dance technique and dance and performing arts courses such as history and anatomy. I spent five years working at a preschool with infant through 3-year-old children.
My own vestibular disorder, Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV), started while I was working as a technician in a Physical Therapy clinic. I took a special interest in learning about and helping others with balance and dizziness concerns.
I have experience treating active duty military members, student-athletes, and performing artists. I love working with people of all ages, from infants through "seasoned citizens."
